I'm Mickey Mouse

Wednesdays are the longest day of the week for me. I've been wanting to wear these jeans for a while now and I barely have since I bought them a couple weeks ago or has it been months? Who cares. Anyways, my sister and I have always had a bit of a Disney obsession. Her is worse though she's gone a ridiculous amount of times these last couple of years. When we were little we used to go a lot and I think that's why we like it so much. We get to re-experience our childhood. Well, I felt like Mickey Mouse with the colors in my outfit today.

All I am missing is the yellow shoes!

Top: Cha Cha Vente? I don't know what that is. It's old
Jeans: Thrifted
Shoes: Idore

Exhaustion and am not really sleeping just pretending. I don't look that nice when I sleep although maybe I should start sleeping with my heels on so my feet can get used to them. It makes perfect sense.

Alexander McQueen Look for less

I'm really enjoying all of my classes so far this quarter. You know your doing something you love when you actually want to go to school and you sit first row actually wanting to listen to your professor instead of texting or just simply daydreaming about flying unicorns. Anyways, Alejandro & I were looking at some shows yesterday and we realized that he could recreate one of the looks in the Alexander McQueen men's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

Jacket: Thrifted
Jeans: American Apparel
Shirt: American Apparel.

I've never worn pink trousers before but I've been experimenting with different colors that I typically would not wear.
Top: Zara
Blazer: Forever 21
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Silvia Tcherassi for Payless

Spring 2012 RTW Shows

It’s been raining nonstop in the Sunshine state for a couple of days. The irony of it all. Anyways, rainy days consist of a lot of ruminating, studying, and a ridiculous amount of hours spent on the internet. I’ve read way too many fashion sites, blogs, browsed through a lot of online stores dreaming of the day where money magically appears on my bank account and last but not least the newspaper. Yup, I actually like knowing what’s going on around me. I love fashion but I also believe that you need a balance in everything in life. Too much of anything is no bueno. Not good for those of you who don’t speak Spanish.

I browsed through a lot of shows. I’d like to share some pictures before I go to the gym. I have cabin fever and I’m going to turn delirious if I don’t get outside of my apartment soon.

Alexander McQueen

Kenzo

Emanuel Ungaro

Jean Charles de Castelbajac.. Uploaded especially for my sister since she has an anything related to Disney obsession.

Louis Vuitton

Elie Saab

Vionnet

Kanye West.. I was kind of skeptical when I saw that Kanye West had a collection because I believe that artists should stick to what they are best at. I was pleasantly suprised to see some nice garments in the collection. His music is obviously better than his design skills plus he received a lot of help from fashion gurus but overall it was pretty good.

Like a love song baby

I've had this Selena Gomez song stuck in my head all day long today. It's been a very long day I've been awake since 6am and have not stopped all day long. Classes were really fun today and the energy in this school is unreal. I could go on and on about each class but let's not bore you with every single detail of my day.

I came up with this outfit this morning while I was half a zombie. I like to call myself a zombie in the morning because honestly I'm not a morning person. I bought this skirt two years ago and today was the first time I wore it. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner! This mustard V neck was only $4.50 and you will be seeing it a lot! It's very fall.

Mustard V neck: Forever 21
Skirt: H&M
Blazer: Charlotte Russe
Oxfords: Blake Scott

As promised I mentioned yesterday that I was going to start featuring other people in my blog. So everyone meet Alejandro. He is studying Fashion Merchandising with me and is also my neighbor. You will be seeing a lot of him now! We have become very good friends and I love his style. He is a risk taker when it comes to dressing up and I love and admire that about him. As long as you feel happy and confident with what you are wearing you shouldn't mind what others say. Check out his Chictopia for more outfits!

Button up shirt: American Apparel
Blazer: Forever 21
Jeans: Hot Topic
Shoes: Asos

1st day of School

It's been a while since I did an outfit post! Since I moved to Miami I transfered to Miami International University of Art & Design! Today was my first day there and I'm already in love with this school. I love the energy there and am ready to do great in all my classes. Today felt like the beginning of a long journey which I will call my career and dream. It's not going to be easy and there will be some bumps in the road but am ready for the challenge. Not only do I want to share my experience with others bloggings let's me document it and honestly I can't rememeber what I had for lunch two days ago but I could tell you what I wore.

Let me stop babbling since I could go on forever and tell you what I wore. I bought these leather shorts the other day and they are oficially my new favorite shorts. They are so comfortable and go with absolutely everything!

Blouse: Forever 21
Leather Shorts: Lauren Condrad by Kohls
Shoes: Candies by Kohls
Brown bag: Thrifted

Thanks for reading!

Back to business

I took a long hiatus from the blogging world. As a human being we all have our ups and down and we can sometimes lose focus of what we want. The good thing is that I am back with a lot of great ideas that will be implemented soon. I’m going to start featuring a lot of people so stay tuned for that!

In other news, Paris Fashion Week has been going on all this week and I’m swooning over the clothes as I obsessively watch each show. Here are some of my favorites for now.
